Chief Executive Officer

City Care

May 2017 - Present

We provide transitional and permanent supportive housing to the homeless, oversee the Whiz Kids program, and will open Oklahoma City's only low-barrier night shelter in 2020.

I am a member of the Oklahoma State Pardon and Parole board, the national board of the Center for Employment Opportunities, and previously a member of the Oklahoma State Board of Corrections.

2006 - 2017

  • Policy director at the E Foundation for Oklahoma (2016 - 2017) - worked on state level strategic planning and policy.

  • State director at Right on Crime      (2015 - 2016) - pursued criminal justice reforms in Oklahoma.

  • Korean Cryptologic Linguist in the US Air Force (2006 - 2011) - studied at the Defense Language Institute and was stationed at Osan Air Base for three years.

2011 - 2015

I currently serve as the CEO at City Care

I am married to Sarah and together we have four sons and one daughter.

We pursue God, community, and mission through Skyline Church

I enjoy reading, building, and being outside. Taking my kids places and introducing them to new people, experiences, and cultures is one of my favorite things - second only to stealing a night out with Sarah.

I am committed to my city and doing my part to make it just while balancing grace, love, and compassion to meet people where they are.
